Quectel RG650V Sub-6GHz 5G module receives 2023 IoT Evolution 5G Leadership Award
26 OCTOBER 2023: Quectel Wireless Solutions, a global IoT solutions provider, has announced that its RG650V New Radio (NR) 5G Sub-6GHz module series has received a 2023 IoT Evolution 5G Leadership Award presented by TMC and Crossfire Media. The 2023 IoT Evolution 5G Leadership Award gives credit to the companies taking the lead in making 5G of the future happen, today.
Quectel RG650V modules are optimized specifically for IoT and extended mobile broadband (eMBB) applications. Adopting 3GPP Release 17, the RG650V Sub-6GHz 5G module supports both 5G non-standalone (NSA) and (SA) modes and supports 4G and 3G network connections for scenarios in which 5G is unavailable. The module has been designed for industrial and commercial applications and is utilized in business routers, home gateways, set top boxes, industrial and consumer laptops and PDAs. In addition, the module includes a multi-constellation global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receiver that is available for applications that require fast and accurate location fixes.
