Wi-Fi modules connect IoT devices to Wi-Fi networks, a form of short-range connectivity. Wi-Fi’s sixth generation Wi-Fi 6 represents a dramatic improvement over its predecessors, with maximum output of 9.6Gbps over Wi-Fi 5’s 3.5Gbps, much reduced latency, and superior ability to support multiple devices.

Quectel’s Wi-Fi 6 modules are designed to deliver faster, more secure and more robust Wi-Fi experiences than ever before, as well as new Bluetooth audio capabilities. When used in combination with our 5G modules, these offer superior 5G and Wi-Fi 6 performance for MiFi and CPE designed to ensure high-speed connections supporting up to 32 clients at a time, guaranteeing ultrareliable connections for multi-user scenarios such as smart homes, shopping malls, schools and factories.  And as more and more consumer industries are now investing in the intersection of cutting edge Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 enterprise access point shipments will increase from 4.3m in 2021 to 13.4m in 2026, at a CAGR of 25%. The time for solution builders to plan too for that market expansion is surely now.
