Overview
Quectel’s SDM108A is a remote Wi-Fi HaLow gateway that complies with the IEEE 802.11ah standard. As an open standard technology, Wi-Fi HaLow operates in the unlicensed sub-1 GHz spectrum, providing enhanced coverage and penetration capabilities.
The SDM108A operates in the 902–928MHz frequency band, supporting configurable channel widths of 1/2/4/8MHz. Its maximum physical data rate is 32.5Mbps, and its theoretical maximum output power is 27dBm. With its extended communication range and excellent signal penetration performance, the gateway enables reliable control of IoT devices over 1km away, which makes it an ideal choice for smart home and smart city applications.
The gateway fully leverages the advantages of Wi-Fi Halow technology while integrating the FGH100M-H module to provide seamless backward compatibility and stable connections for IEEE 802.11b/g/n devices.
