Overview
The LUA501RA (00) is an automotive grade, compact, high-performance IMU module based on the SMI270 chip. The module seamlessly integrates a 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer. All shipped modules undergo a rigorous calibration process during production, where each module is assigned a set of unique dynamic compensation parameters to correct bias error over temperature, scale factor error, and misalignment error, ensuring performance consistency and providing continuous, stable, and accurate sensor measurements across a wide temperature range.
Compared to complex discrete designs, the factory-calibrated LUA501RA (00) provides a simple, cost-effective solution for integrating a high-performance IMU in industrial and automotive systems. Its compact size and low integration effort can greatly shorten the product development cycle and accelerate time-to-market.
