Overview
The SE525BE series is Quectel’s new generation of multi-mode 5G smart modules, powered by the Qualcomm CQ4390M octa-core 64-bit processor. Running the Android 16 operating system, the series delivers robust performance and extensive multimedia capabilities, designed to meet the rigorous high-speed data and media requirements of both industrial and consumer applications. The SE525BE series consists of four distinct variants: SE525BE-CN, SE525BE-EM, SE525BE-NA, and SE525BE-WF.
The SE525BE series complies with the 3GPP Release 16 specification, supporting both 5G NSA and SA modes, and offers backward compatibility with 4G/3G networks. Additionally, the series features the support for Wi-Fi 6E with DBS, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards, 2 ×2 MU-MIMO, and Bluetooth 5.2.
The SE525BE series supports 5G and LTE multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology, utilizing multiple receiving antennas on the same frequency band to significantly reduce bit error rates and enhance communication quality. Furthermore, the series integrates a multi-constellation GNSS receiver supporting GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, QZSS, and SBAS for rapid and precise positioning.
The SE525BE series integrates a comprehensive set of interfaces, including LCM, camera, touch panel, UART, USB, I2C, and I2S, significantly expanding its versatility in the M2M sector. The series is well-suited for a wide range of industrial and consumer applications, including smart gateways, CPEs, MiFi, MIDs, PNDs, POS systems, routers, multimedia terminals, smartphones, digital signage, smart safety systems, and industrial-grade PDAs.
