The company, which is based in Vietnam, has been a customer of Quectel since 2019 and relies on Quectel modules for its wireless audio and industrial communication systems. Most recently, it has selected the Quectel SC200L and SC20 modules for use in its wireless audio transmission system for industrial environments.

“We are using Quectel SC200L and SC20 modules for our wireless audio transmission system in industrial environments,” says Tran Dinh Hung, a Firmware Engineer at ByTech. “These modules support 4G LTE Cat 4, providing stable and low-latency connectivity, which is essential for real-time audio streaming over long distances. Their built-in Android operating system allows us to develop and run custom applications directly on the module, reducing the need for additional hardware.”

ByTech’s systems are deployed in large-scale industrial environments, where ensuring stable and real-time wireless audio transmission are crucial. To address these requirements, ByTech adopted the Quectel SC200L and SC20 modules, both of which support 4G LTE Cat 4 with data speeds of up to 150Mbps downlink and 50Mbps uplink. A key advantage of these modules is their built-in Android operating system, which allows ByTech to develop applications directly on the device without the need for additional microcontrollers or embedded computers, thereby reducing hardware costs and optimizing the system.

The Quectel SC200L runs Android 9 or higher, featuring a Qualcomm quad-core or octa-core CPU, 1GB/2GB RAM, and 8GB/16GB eMMC storage, while the Quectel SC20 supports Android 7.1 or 9, with a Cortex-A7 quad-core CPU, 512MB/1GB RAM and 4GB/8GB eMMC storage. Both modules support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, expanding connectivity options and enabling remote control. In addition, both modules feature industrial-grade design, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +75°C.
