Quectel Names Alexander Bufalino Vice President of Marketing
Shanghai, March 13, 2020 – Quectel Wireless Solutions, a global supplier of cellular and GNSS modules has today announced the appointment of Alexander Bufalino as their Vice President of Marketing. He brings with him a wealth of experience in both IoT and marketing and will be a key driver of Quectel's future sales strategy and thought leadership.
Alex joined Siemens in 1998 where he swiftly identified the opportunity of applying potential IoT use cases to vertical industries, with this model later becoming a highly successful strategic line of business. In 2005, he joined Telit as Head of Global Marketing, progressing quickly to CMO. During his time at Telit, Alex built the brand globally and launched innovative marketing vehicles such as the hugely successful telit2market magazine, read by over 1 million engineers worldwide. In addition to this, Alex managed strategic account sales and was personally responsible for the onboarding and development of some of the company's biggest global accounts. Recently he gained extensive MVNO experience as SVP of Sales for KORE Wireless and as Co-founder and Managing Director of 1NCE.
