Quectel launches into second decade with new company logo

SHANGHAI, March 4, 2021- Quectel Wireless Solutions, supplier of Internet of Things (IoT) modules, today unveiled its new company logo which, following the recent 10th anniversary of the company, replaces the previous logo to encapsulate the futuristic ethos of the company.

Quectel was established by CEO Patrick Qian and seven other co-founders in Shanghai with the aim of becoming the world's largest module supplier. Quectel now has more than 3000 employees, with over 50 sales offices around the world, and five R&D centers in Shanghai, Hefei, Foshan, Belgrade and Vancouver. Quectel serves more than 5,500 industrial customers across the globe.

The new logo has been completely redrawn while still retaining the heritage of the company's original logo. Some applications of the new logo where space is constrained will include just the capital Q with its distinctive red highlight, identifying the brand on even the smallest products.

“I'm pleased to introduce this new logo which refreshes the company's original branding while still retaining our company identity which thousands of customers are now familiar with across the world,” said Alexander Bufalino, vice president of marketing at Quectel. “The new logo references our heritage, drawing on the visual language of our original logo, but importantly now reflects Quectel as a market-leading, global company that is helping to build a smarter world.”
