# New Product Intro: YECT004W1A and YECT005W1A 5G antennas

The [YECT004W1A](https://www.quectel.com/product/yect004w1a-5g-terminal-mount-antenna/) and [ YECT005W1A](https://www.quectel.com/product/yect005w1a-5g-terminal-mount-antenna/) are two of our newest and most advanced 5G terminal mount antennas – Antenna and RF Engineer Dusan Ristic explains more in this short NPI video.

These ultra-wide-band 5G antennas provide broad coverage from 600–6000MHz whilst offering backward-compatibility to support 4G/3G and 2G networks as well as LTE Cat M and narrowband IoT (NB-IoT). The antennas are terminated with SMA male connectors. Ideal for applications where the antenna is required to be discrete, these low-profile, terminal mount omni-directional antennas are easy to install with maximum durability assured thanks to their PC + ABS enclosures.

The antennas are designed as a dipole type to work with various GND plane sizes or in free space for ease of integration with a hinged SMA male connector to achieve the optimum position. The hinged structure helps to avoid other antennas or objects by rotating to different directions when mounted on terminals. These omni-directional antennas are ideally suited for gateways and routers, smart metering, vending machines, industrial IoT, smart homes, and connected enterprise, offering great performance with high gain and efficiency.
