Yasu Okada is Senior Sales Director, APAC at Quectel. Yasu has been a key figure in the IoT and embedded systems industry since 2002. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles as Country Head for several international companies, successfully managing and driving growth in the embedded and IoT markets in Japan.
Notably, during his time as Country Manager at Universal Electronics Inc., Yasu built a robust customer network within the home appliance and embedded IoT sectors, significantly expanding his influence in the industry. Before joining Quectel, Yasu also served as Vice President of Sales at Japan Computer Vision and Country Manager at Blaize Inc., further strengthening his leadership in the emerging AI embedded solutions technology space.
Since joining Quectel, Yasu has been dedicated to implementing business strategies tailored for the Japanese market, aiming to increase the company’s market share in APAC.
