Job responsibilities:
- Work with the local sales team and distributors to promote smart SoC products to more customers, and secure a good sales increase of SoC products.
- Work with the HQ Team and other supporting teams to evaluate customer's project requirements, and provide proposals to customers together with the sales team in order to design win new projects.
- Product overall lifetime management, including evaluation, initialization, development, NPI, MP, EOL management, and preparing training for local sales and distributors accordingly.
- Keep up-to-date insights of the market, customers, and competitors, and collect and define requirements for new products according to insights to make sure our smart SoC products fit the market and customer requirements.
- Explore the requirements and trends of leading customers in the mainstream market.
- Correctly judge market trends and conduct detailed analysis of competitors in real time.
- Analyze performance and cost competitiveness of Quectel products, and provide inputs for internal product strategies/roadmaps planning.
- Support sales managers regarding major customers or key projects, cooperate with ecosystem partners, and build partner relationships.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s+ in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years in product management for smart SoC products.
- Willing to travel half of the working time.
- Familiar with SOCs (Qualcomm SOC, MTK SOC, NXP SOC, Nvidia SOC, Rockchip SoC, TI SoC, Broadcom SOC etc.).
- Relevant experience in SoC based mobile phones, tablet computers, SBCs, and various cellular communication IOT devices.
- Familiar with Android OS, Linux OS, Ubuntu OS, etc.
- Knowledge of IoT market verticals.
