Smart Product Manager

Job responsibilities:

1. Work with the local sales team and distributors to promote smart SoC products to more customers, and secure a good sales increase of products.
2. Work with the HQ Team and other supporting teams to evaluate customer's project requirements, and provide proposals to customers together with sales team in order to design win new projects.
3. Product overall lifetime management, including evaluation, initialization, development, NPI, MP, EOL management, and preparing training for local sales and distributors accordingly.
4. Keep up-to-date insights of the market, customers, and competitors, collect and define requirements for new products according to the insights to make sure Quectel's smart SoC products fit the market and customer requirements.
5. Explore the requirements and trends of leading customers in the mainstream market.
6. Correctly judge market trends and conduct detailed analysis of competitors in real time.
7. Analyze performance and cost competitiveness of our products, provide inputs for internal product strategies/roadmaps planning.
8. Support sales managers regarding major customers or key projects, cooperate with eco system partners, and build partner relationships.

Job requirements:

1. Bachelor’s+ in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
2. 7+ years in product management for smart SoC products.
3. Willing to travel half of the working time.
4. Self driven and motivated individual.
5. Knowledge of IoT market verticals.
