We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our fast-growing team. This role will develop our ODM sales in Japan.
Your goal is to grow Quectels OMD revenue and market share in Japan. You will be a link to key customers and product managers, and you will develop new market segments and verticals. You will work closely with our RSDs who will support you in your plans and execution.
In short, you are key to Quectel's success through great sales achievements.
To be successful in this role, you need to be experienced within ODM and well connected, with a sales/product marketing profile. You should have several years of ODM sales and/or product marketing experience in the Japan market.

Essential responsibilities:
- Develop and drive Japan ODM business.
- Receive purchase orders from customers for ODM business.
- Conclude business with customers and initiate supply agreements.
- Identify market trends and new verticals/applications.
- Define and propose a “go to market strategy”.
- Search for and evaluate potential new channel partners and rep. firms.
- Cooperate with our Marketing Department for marketing activities.
- Attend trade shows and regional events.
- Salesforce (CRM) registration and information sharing.
Requirements:
- Working experience in a Wi-Fi module company/ODM module distributor.
- Five years or more experience in business development.
- Know-how within manufacturing and an understanding of IoT verticals, customer segments, and the ODM competitor landscape.
- Location: Japan.
- Native Japanese speaker and fluent in English.
- Well organized and structured work approach, with a 100% follow up attitude.
- Team player who isn't afraid of sharing views and ideas.
- Positive, motivated, proactive, self- starter with a strong work ethic.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good presentation skills.
