Quectel launches new LoRa, V2X, Wi-Fi and 5G durable fiberglass antennas to empower IoT developers with broader design flexibility
Anaheim, CA, 4 November 2025 – Quectel Wireless Solutions, an end-to-end global IoT solutions provider, has unveiled five new durable fiberglass antennas, covering LoRa, V2X, Wi-Fi and 5G technologies. The new antennas augment Quectel’s comprehensive existing range with new variants designed to address the requirements of specific use cases.
“These five new durable fiberglass antennas provide discreet, robust options across the key wireless technologies,” commented Colin Newman, Director of Antenna Business Development, Quectel Wireless Solutions. “We increasingly see demand for antennas across LoRa, Wi-Fi, 5G and V2X that enable demanding use cases from all areas of the communications and IoT market. We look forward to collaborating with customers to address their application needs with these powerful new antennas.”
The YENT005W7AM is a LoRa fiberglass omni-directional antenna aimed at the medical devices, smart monitoring and smart home markets. Offering high gain and efficiency, the antenna has a diameter of 25.5mm and height of 600mm. Terminated with N type male connectors, the antenna provides broad coverage in the 863-873 MHz frequency range and weighs 220g.
It is ideal for use cases where the antenna installation needs to be discreet and durability is assured thanks to its IP67-rated FRP enclosure. The YENT005W7AM is compatible with the Quectel RM250x series modules and this robust product operates in the -40 °C to +85 °C temperature range.
Quectel has also launched the YENT006W7AM LoRa fiberglass antenna aimed at the same applications as the YENT005W7AM with which it shares many features including dimensions, operating temperature range, N type male connectors and an IP67-rated FRP enclosure. Also compatible with the Quectel RM250 series modules, the YENT006W7AM operates in the 910-920MHz frequency range and has been designed as an array type antenna to work in free space.
