Our PI-SG560D smart MOB development board is a single board computer (SBC) ideal for edge computing applications. We have engineered the PI-SG560D SBC to meet the rigorous demands of industrial automation, smart retail, robotics, and consumer electronics. Its dimensions are optimal for embedded applications and its lifecycle extends to 2036. The board's combination of powerful computing, rich connectivity, and scalable design positions it as a future-proof solution for developers seeking to build innovative, high-performance systems in an ever-evolving technological landscape.
How the features of our PI-SG560D SBC make it ideal for edge computing
The PI-SG560D uses the Qualcomm SDM™ QCS6490 platform to deliver exceptional performance and versatility. At its core lies a high-performance octa-core 64-bit processor. A 2.7GHz Gold Plus core, two 2.4GHz Gold cores, and four 1.9GHz Silver cores strike an optimal balance between speed and energy efficiency. This robust CPU, paired with a 812MHz Qualcomm Adreno™ 642L/643 GPU, provides up to 12.15 TOPS of computing power. This makes it ideal for intensive tasks such as edge computing inference, multimedia processing, and edge computing.
The PI-SG560D SBC is designed for scalability. It features 8GB of LPDDR4X memory for rapid data access and 128GB UFS storage. It also supports external eMMC and SSD modules to accommodate diverse storage needs. PI-SG560D's power management system, integrated via a USB TYPE-C interface, ensures stable operation while enabling compact form factors. It also supports dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (2.4+5GHz, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 5.0, and a gigabit Ethernet port. This allows for seamless integration into both wired and wireless networks.
Multimedia capabilities are a key highlight. PI-SG560D supports dual displays through DP over USB Type-C (DisplayPort 1.4, up to 4K @60fps) and HDMI 2.0. This enables vibrant visuals in applications like smart signage and industrial HMI systems. The SBC also includes two 4-lane MIPI CSI camera interfaces. This allows for high-res imaging, alongside a 3.5mm audio output and HDMI audio support for comprehensive audio-visual solutions. A wealth of peripheral interfaces also enhances adaptability. Running on Linux/Ubuntu, it offers a flexible software ecosystem for developers, supporting advanced programming languages and tools for rapid prototyping and deployment.
