We offer a comprehensive suite of Antenna Services to help customers choose the optimal antenna for their device. Our Antenna Services extend from custom antenna design, to electrical path analysis, mechanical and RF design support, and beyond. We also offer technical requirement analysis, device overview, antenna selection, integration recommendations, testing and certification.

As a global IoT solutions provider of antennas, modules and certification services, we offer a one-stop solution, with expert guidance to ensure successful and timely project completion. Our engineers can assist you throughout the development cycle, making design easier and faster. Our well-established facilities feature state-of-the-art equipment over 4,500m2 of lab space and 6,000 test stations.

The Quectel Antenna Services portfolio includes:

Antenna scheme feasibility study

GNSS field testing

RF review and analysis of 3D model

OTA active testing with TRP/TIS

Customized antenna design

Noise control and debugging

Passive cellular testing with optimization

Pre-certification services for CE, FCC and PTCRB compliance

Neglecting antenna design leads to significant loss of performance in the end device thanks to inefficient design, poor integration between components and suboptimal antenna selection. By paying more attention to antenna design from the start of a project, common errors can be avoided.

Our four-step antenna design optimization process seamlessly integrates consultation and evaluation with design, testing and certification, before we move to manufacture and device integration. This helps ensure better performance, optimal device size, longer battery life, and shorter launch cycles.

  • The consulting and evaluation stage covers a feasibility and architecture study, identification of risks and an initial proof of concept, then concludes with selection of the antenna type.

  • The design stage decides placement, layout and radiofrequency specification. Multi-antenna design and optimization follows before this stage concludes with a Gerber file review.

  • The testing and certification stage comprises over-the-air (OTA) testing, interference mitigation, GNSS field testing, and pre-OTA testing for certification.

  • Focus then moves to manufacturing with production of a sample, tooling and molding. This phase also includes assembly and production testing before moving to full-scale delivery.
