Quectel helps WE’EV connect solar energy monitoring with EC200G-CN LTE Cat 1 bis module
WE’EV Global is a provider of battery analytics for electric vehicles and solar energy systems. The company, which is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, enables reduced energy system downtime through detecting anomalies via its modular and integrated software systems. In its solar energy systems business, WE’EV aims to help users improve energy efficiency by monitoring all components including inverters and energy storage systems (ESS) to optimize energy system operations. WE’EV, which currently sells its solutions and services in Vietnam and will shortly enter the Korean and other global markets will continue to deliver smart monitoring and control systems to help its customers optimize energy consumptions and costs. Quectel is supporting WE’EV with its EC200G-CN LTE Cat 1 bis module which delivers maximum data rates up to 10Mbps downlink and 5Mbps uplink. The module is ideal for IoT use cases such as automation, smart metering, point of sale (POS) devices, data sharing and other smart device applications.
The EC200G-CN has a compact form factor of 28.0mm x 31.0mm x 2.4mm and operates in the -40 to +85°C temperature range, making it an ideal module for supporting communication requirements in applications such as utility metering in addition to use cases that rely on cost-effective reliable connectivity.
