Available in Asia, the Emergency Response tablet can be customized to meet specific requirements and Daviscomms worked with Quectel for antenna design and verification as well using the Quectel SC200 smart module for this project. “The Quectel solution has had a significant impact on both cost efficiency and project timelines,” adds LI. “By ensuring we have the right cost structure in place from the outset, we’re able to achieve a more  favorable cost impact. The Quectel SC200 is a multi-mode smart LTE module with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities. The module uses the Android 12 operating system and is ideal for industrial and consumer applications that require a high data rate, multimedia features and lifelong support. In LTE mode, the module offers maximum data rates of 150Mbps downlink and 50Mbps uplink. In addition, the module measures just 40.5mm x 40.5mm x 2.85mm and weighs 0.73kg, providing design flexibility for developers. The SC200 is also rugged and operates in the -35°C to +75°C temperature range.
