Quectel Wireless Solutions, the global leading supplier of Internet of Things (IoT) modules, announced that it has recently entered into an STM32 (China) strategic partnership with STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader serving customers across the spectrum of electronics applications. The partnership was unveiled April 26 at STM32 Summit 2019 in Shenzhen, with the aim to further collaborate for a more prosperous STM32 ecosystem.
Themed "Driving A Smarter World," STM32 Summit 2019 focuses on AI & Computing, Industry & Security, and Cloud & Connectivity, during which Quectel showcased its latest products covering 5G modules to be commercially available in 2019, Android smart modules, LTE and LTE-A modules ranging from Cat 1 to Cat 20, as well as NB-IoT/LTE-M modules.

Quectel has been maintaining close collaboration with ST to simplify connections of IoT devices to Cloud services. Last year, the two parties jointly develop two STM32 Discovery packs integrating Quectel modules, which enable turnkey and out of the box cellular-to-cloud connection.
