The ideal candidate would have extensive Bluetooth and WiFi sales experience alongside a strong technical know-how. The role requires a self-driven, target oriented, creative self-starter who has an organized work style, excellent customer relationship skills and the ability to work independently. Bluetooth and WiFi are a critical element of the Quectel portfolio, hence the role is expected to grow the market, ensure customer satisfaction and secure a number one position within Bluetooth and WiFi module sales. This role is also responsible for our EMEA sales activities and customer contacts and it is anticipated that the successful candidate would divide their time equally between the two elements.


The Bluetooth and WiFi BDM is a key member of our EMEA team, managing large and complex marketing and business development programs together with our local teams to drive all stages of a sales funnel.  You must have a proven track record in a broad-based sales and business development role. This role reports to VP EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:


To drive Bluetooth and WiFi sales in EMEA

    • Grow our Bluetooth and WiFi EMEA business in all regions with target of 50% market share
    • Actively sell to customers and sales channels in Taiwan
    • Develop EMEA overall sales strategy including go to market and pricing strategies
    • Educate sales, sales channels and customers direct and through webinars/seminars.
    • Develop annual sales & training programs together with our marketing team
    • Create, execute & follow up on business plan together with VP EMEA
    • Ensure to win all major accounts in EMEA as soon as possible
    • Cooperate with and influence Product Managers to ensure all products are best fit to market
    • Competitor analysis in cooperation with BD & VP EMEA
    • Cooperate with partners and build partner relationships


Required Education, Experience and Competencies:


  • 5 years’ experience; the ideal candidate will have spent 3 years in a similar position for high-tech ICT organizations
  • Experience in BT-WiFi/ M2M/IoT and or BT-WiFi/IoT verticals is mandatory
  • Proven success in creating and executing large, complex integrated BD and marketing activities
  • Expertise in specific tactics to drive leads and brand metrics
  • Experience in CRM tools (preferably Salesforce)
  • Ability to present innovative marketing ideas confidently and use facts and expertise to make recommendations
  • Strong sense of urgency and experience in deadline driven roles
  • Experience in identifying and optimizing USPs to create competitive advantage
  • Self-driven, self-motivated and “independent team player”
  • Strong skills in the areas of leadership, motivation, relationship building, and communications
