Quectel is looking for ambitious and driven Territory Sales Managers throughout North America to be a part of our strong team focused on growing Quectel’s North American market share.
Responsibilities
- Meet with customers and potential customers onsite at their office to review their product roadmap, better understand their technology requirements, and present Quectel’s product and service portfolio
- Research and review customer’s product portfolio collaborate with Quectel’s Technical Sales Team, Field Application Engineers, and Product/Project Managers to recommend appropriate solution
- Continue working with these teams to support customer through the definition, development, deployment, and lifecycle of the product
- Hunt for new customers in the fast-growing IoT space with the support of Quectel’s Inside and Outbound Sales Teams and Marketing Team
- Organize quotes, samples, follow-up meetings, and align with technical teams to make sure customer is fully supported
- Collaborate with colleagues globally to ensure that the customer and their manufacturing/development partners are supported in all global locations
- Work closely with dedicated Commercial Specialist team on all commercial and logistical topics, including forecasting, order management, sending quotes and samples, etc.
- Assess market conditions and competitors' activities in order to develop awareness of emerging markets and trends; apply this knowledge towards growing market share in territory
- Maintain and grow partnerships with customers through regular communication, onsite visits and strong commercial and technical support
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in any field will be accepted
· Minimum of 2 years of industry experience
· Prior sales experience is not required. Candidates from backgrounds such as engineering, technical sales, product/project management, and partnership/channel management are strongly encouraged to apply
· Strong written and presentation skills
· Able to work well under pressure and manage a busy schedule
· Willing to travel/visit customers onsite
