Priorities of Role:

COMPETITOR ACCOUNT OUTREACH

  • Investigate publicly available information on prospective customers that currently use competitors’ modules (competitor accounts) and actively grow sales funnel with the assistance of sales and marketing colleagues and industry ecosystem partners
  • Qualify and reach out to leads to set roadmap meetings, introduce Quectel’s portfolio, and organize next steps which include sending an evaluation kit and a price quote
  • Maintain funnel of prospective customers and ensure they move through the sales process of Customer Acquisition, Technical Evaluation, and Design Win.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  • Manage existing “Inherited” accounts and new “Own Won” accounts in the territory
  • Schedule regular customer meetings to review customers’ product portfolios and determine where there is an opportunity to win new designs
  • Work closely with Technical Sales, Field Application Engineers and Product Managers to ensure all technical questions are answered and escalate technical issues as necessary
  • Work closely with dedicated Sales Administrator to manage PO placement and forecasts
  • Cooperate with colleagues globally to ensure that the customer and their manufacturing/development partners are supported in all global locations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education: bachelor’s degree
  • Years of experience: 3+ years of industry experience
