We currently seek an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our successful SEA team based in Malaysia or Hanoi. You will be part of our highly motivated team and work with projects spanning several continents in Global cooperation and focus on local customers. With you, we can guarantee our customers the most professional sales experience in the industry based on your extensive knowledge and customer-oriented goals. You will plan and align your sales activities with our RSD in SEA and enjoy the freedom to build your own customer base.

  • Lead and drive new business demand creation in symbiose with Field Application Engineers and Business Units to secure successful design win penetrations at customers R&D and design centers
  • Someone used to conducting face-to-face customer management meetings as necessary to do sales, provide support, address issues, communicate updates and advocate your customer’s needs within Quectel
  • Capable of creating monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, delivering revenue goals and ensuring on-time supply


Essential Skills, Qualities and Competencies

  • 5-10 years of experience in electronics or relevant products. (preferably on semiconductor, wireless modules)
  • Motivated and interest in IoT applications
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills and good written and verbal communication
  • Great team player not concerned with personal prestige or ego
  • Openminded contributor to the team and Quectel company success
  • Fluent in Chinese / English (written & oral)
  • Prepared to travel to meetings in Taiwan (with customers) and international
  • Have valid driving license and own car


Preferred additional skills, Qualities and Competencies

  • MBA or Master’s degree is “nice-to-have” (Your personality, competence within our area of scope and personal success is more important than your education)
  • Embedded HW/SW development experience and understanding
  • Cellular, RF & GNSS module experience is preferred
  • Understanding about the evolving wireless technologies and new categories of LTE / 5G
  • Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface directly with different levels of the customers' organisation.
