Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, hardworking manager to lead a team of FAE (Field Application Engineering) in North America. In this role, you will participate in the full technical service, covering both before-sales and after-sales activities with Quectel clients. Quectel, as the biggest wireless communication module vendor, has a wide product portfolios, including cellular, GNSS, short range, antenna and cloud service etc. You will act as both a technical leader, but a career mentor/people manager as well. Similarly, you will bridge the gap between R&D, product, sales, and project management teams.

What You ‘ll Be Doing

· Provide the general technical service to Quectel clients, partners or distributors in North America market.

· Develop and operate the technical engineering team and service infrastructure to meet the requirement of clients.

· Collaborating with product and sales team for product promotion, trade show, marketing analysis.

· Support and resolve, in system or solution level, the customer technical issues. Lead the taskforce of customer issues handling.

· Manage the customer accounts. Control the requirement, delivery, validation.

· Providing career development to each of your team members through constructive reviews and performance feedback

What We Need to See

· BS or higher in an engineering or technical field ( Electronics engineering, Computer Science, Communication, etc.) or equivalent experience.

· 8+ years of hardware/software/architecture product experience

· 3+ years of team lead or management experience

· Conversant with an Agile/Scrum software development environment using Gerrit (or similar), Jira, and Confluence

· Well practiced in building products with embedded development skills

· Familiar with Wireless communication technologies, esp. with Cellular modules and relevant certificate and application

· Based in Vancouver or could be reallocated to Vancouver

· Willing to take business travel in USA and Canada
