Overview

The YFGC009WWD is a high-performance, passive GNSS patch antenna designed for surface-mount (SMT) assembly. Housed in a compact 25 mm × 25 mm × 4 mm ceramic package, this antenna covers the full GNSS frequency band from 1559 MHz to 1606 MHz, supporting GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS, and IRNSS L1/L5/E1/B1 applications.

Key electrical and radiation characteristics (tested on a 70mm × 70mm reference PCB) include:

  • VSWR: 1.27 @ 1575 MHz (GPS L1) | 1.29 @ 1602 MHz (GLONASS G1)
  • Return loss: -18.3 dB @ 1575 MHz | -17.8 dB @ 1602 MHz
  • Efficiency: up to 79.2 %
  • Peak gain: 4.73 dBi @ 1575 MHz | 5.32 dBi @ 1602 MHz
  • Polarization: right-hand circular polarization (RHCP)
  • Radiation pattern: directional

The YFGC009WWD operates over a wide temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C, is RoHS 2.0 and REACH compliant, and weighs 9.8 g (typical). Its SMD mount ceramic design makes it suitable for automated assembly, with a recommended reflow profile for Sn/Ag/Cu solder paste (peak temperature 260 °C). This antenna is an ideal choice for compact GNSS receivers requiring high efficiency, stable gain, and reliable performance across all major satellite navigation systems
